Every January gyms get flooded with people wanting to lose weight or get healthier. By February they are almost back to normal numbers.  You aren't alone if this has been part of your journey. Maybe you have tried and tried to achieve your goals, and you just can't break through a plateau. Changing your lifestyle and your health is an extremely hard thing to do. Most of us know the basics: eat healthy and exercise more. But if it were just that simple, we would all be super fit. Instead, 2/3 of the American population is overweight or obese. So what is holding us all back? There are a lot of factors, but some of the most common are: time, energy, our childhood relationship to food and household rules around it, emotions, fears, body image, and many many more. If you are sick and tired of feeling sick and tired and want to break through the patterns of your past, it may be time to go deeper and dig out the dirty roots of your health and weight struggles.

I offer individual and group therapy to address these issues and often offer seminars on the topic.

What is keeping you from achieving your health and weight loss goals? Together we can identify your obstacles including: habits, history, beliefs, emotions, support. Then we work together to design a plan to tackle each obstacle, and any others that come up as we go. While you work to blast through the obstacles, I am here to support you along the way.

While health and wellness is a lifetime process, those who achieve their goals have more energy for the rest of life, more confidence, increased general health, and often an attitude that they can conquer many more things in life.
